In this CPD module titled ‘Protecting the vulnerable risk groups from influenza’, Prof Dr Tan Maw Pin, Professor in Geriatric Medicine from University Malaya Medical Centre, shared insights on influenza in general, with a special focus on the incidence of influenza in high-risk groups, the benefits of influenza vaccination, as well as recommendations from guidelines pertaining to influenza vaccination. Additionally, she also stressed on the importance of influenza vaccination for high-risk groups amidst the COVID-19 wave.
